In my almost 30 years of life, I have not been to many places not only in Sabah but around Kota Kinabalu as well. *head hangs in shame* I cannot explain why but like some or most people, I take those places for granted. You know, it’s there and will always be there and I will get there eventually. Of course, most time that eventually never comes.
I could count all the places I’ve visited in Sabah with my two hands.
Right hand
1. Sandakan – Beluran (my mom’s village, Sandakan town, Sepilok
2. Tenghilan – stayed in a lodge
3. Kiulu – camp by the Kiulu river & camp in one of the school
4. Beaufort – camp in a school / church
5. Papar – stayed in one of the resort
Left hand
1. Tuaran – day trip
2. Kundasang/Ranau – stayed in Bundu Tuhan, Perkasa Hotel (now different name), day trip to Kinabalu Park
3. Kiansom – day trip to Kiansom waterfall
4. Penampang – day trip to one of the rivers – Lutong Mutong, Babagon, overnight at the Sugud waterfall (not sure if this is the one though)
5. Manukan Island – overnight & several day trips
I’m pretty sure that is all the places I’ve visited. I might be wrong because these days my memory fails me miserably.
People always surprise me by telling me of places (especially eating outlets) I’ve never even heard of. I must admit, I never even set foot on the famous ones like Atmosphere. Again, please do not ask me why. I would not be able to tell you.
I have heard of this shop at Sinsuran that sells very good Tom Yam in 2002 and I finally get to taste it three weeks ago. It was really good and I am looking forward for someone to invite me to the same shop to try their other equally well known dishes.
Anyway, some friends were talking about this particular location known for its fresh and cheap seafood, and I was hooked. I LOVE SEAFOOD. I was a bit worried on the location because that particular venue wasn’t known for their cleanliness and I have this thing about hygiene. I found out that many tour guides bring foreigners to this place and they have no problem eating there. So I told myself if the place was good enough for them, then it is good enough for me. True enough, the food was not only good and cheap, the place was very clean too. See, never judge a place by its reputation.
The night stalls are located behind the Philippine market. There are rows of stalls selling varieties of grilled seafood – fish, squid, prawns, crabs, etc. I was also introduced to two types of seaweed, which I tried and didn’t really fancy. At least I tasted it. Now I’m waiting for more invitation to that place. By the way, I have no idea what is that place called.
I miss blogging but it’s difficult for me to even finish one in a day.

Because I said so
The next person who says I’m choosy will get a good beating from me. *does karate chops* The funny thing is, it is always the women who tells me this. The men just shrug me off.
I was out of control for the past few days. My temper rose over the smallest thing especially when I am at home. Thank goodness I have enough common sense not to lose my cool. I am just tired of the second-class treatment not only in the office but also at home. It’s not their fault really, I know I am just being over sensitive over idiotic things. *hangs head in shame* Ohh, I don’t know. I’m just going to blame my hormones for this.
Have you ever gone through days not liking everything you do, see, touch, hear or eat? To make it worse, you don’t even know what you want. All you know is you don’t want things to be that way. Yes, my grouchiness is BACK with a vengeance.
I think as I get older, I am becoming more impossible.
X: The girl was shocked to hear me telling XboyX that I am in pain because I am having my menses.
Me: Why did you tell XboyX that? You hardly know him.
X: He’s a big boy. He should know the facts of life.
Me: Yeah, but he doesn’t need to know when you’re bleeding.
X: To me, it’s a natural thing. It’s not like I’m telling him about my vagina.
Me: …
I can never win this sort of argument. In fact I rather not win it if it stops the other person from continuing the topic. I don’t know what to say. I like to think myself as an open minded person but there has to be a fine line where the openness stops. To tell your other half or even your good friend is understandable. But to tell someone you barely know… what will that person do with that info anyway? Maybe to run far far away from you.
I’m sorry but I am so damn bored. *arrgghhh* *bangs head on wall*
So many things I could do but my mind and body just refused to do it. Maybe I need to start yoga or pilates. *LOL* Yeah right. Who am I kidding?
Last night I watched Because I Said So by Diane Keaton (Something’s Gotta Give), Mandy Moore (A Walk To Remember), Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls), Piper Perabo (Coyote Ugly), etc. It’s about a meddling mother who tries to set her daughter up with the right man so her kid won't follow in her footsteps. I love the fantastic casts, and the simple but witty storyline/script. I also love their wardrobe.
Gabriel Macht who played Johnny is hot. I wish Johnny exist in real life.

actively not
I spend my Saturday night playing SpongeBob Collapse and listening to my collection of favorite songs from Calendar Girl to Bohemian Rhapsody to Hey There Delilah. Though it’s raining outside, I am feeling rather warm. Maybe the flu/fever/cough is messing with my body because my temperature goes up and down like crazy for the past week.
Everyone is falling sick but there is no need to deliberately cough on my face just because you think it’s funny. *rolls eyes* I told you to cut it out but somehow you took it as your cue to further irritate me. Some people really need to grow up and learn some manners. *tsk tsk tsk*
I think my drinking exercises only made the flu/fever/cough bug stronger.
*cough cough* Great, now my throat hurts.
--
I’m on an eating spree and it’s scary. I would unconsciously grab a chocolate bar (and I don’t even like them!) or anything I could find and only realize what I was doing until I’m full/done. Hee. Well not really like that but the non-stop eating bit is true. *sighs* I need to learn to ignore my food craving. Why is it so damn difficult? I have five big events (so far) this year and we all know how hard it is for me to find anything decent (a.k.a. that doesn’t scare people away) to wear.
I just realize the culprit behind the craving, but I still think I should have more self control.
Today I am asked to fill in my own probationary performance appraisal. Wtf? Is this some kind of a test for me? No matter what I fill, it will surely become an issue. This is a sick joke and I have no tolerance for silliness today. *sticks tongue out* I think I’ll get someone to fill it for me.
According to someone, she doesn’t think I am an active person. Felt a little upset when I suddenly realize what she said was true. *LOL* The last time I play any sports (futsal) was over a year ago and that was an painful experience. I need to get my lazy arse do some exercise. I need and I must. Oohhh… the pressure.

eh?
The other day…
This is SO going to be a whining entry from me. So if you’re already having a bad day, my advice is, please come back after few days for a more cheerful and witty entry. Thank you.
I am sick and tired of the discrimination. I really am. If I didn’t need the money, I would just walk away. Unfortunately my sanity stops me from acting like him, swearing, yelling and sending stupid emails like a useless idiot. I have more class than that. I would never let someone as low as him turns me into someone I dislike.
The problem is I am running out of patience and patience doesn’t come in bottles. So people, we may have a problem.
I really don’t understand it. I don’t understand how anyone can be so evil. Maybe I am emotional because this is the first time in my professional life where someone treats me like shit. It sucks. Big time. I work long hours doing my work without screw ups and even does other people’s work for them. I stay out of politics and never give anyone trouble. So why is he finding fault with me?
Get a life you *toot*

Today…
I am feeling so much better because I had a really funny/weird dream last night. I guess I was talking about it so much and it actually creeps into my dream. *LOL* I would not share the dream because make me shy only. *blushes*
I get to go out dancing with some of my girlfriend last Wed at one of the local hot spots in town. Yes, I went to the same place I went with my siblings. The crowd is still either way younger or older than me. Or at least that what it feels like that night. It doesn’t matter though because I was there not to “guy watch” but to dance and dancing I did. Okay, maybe not really dancing but imitating other people’s funky dance move. The important thing was, I had fun.
Few things I didn’t like that night was the crampy dance floor and people who doesn’t understand the concept of good manners. I don’t care how drunk/high/important you are, but please, no excessive physical contact because it’s rude. And they don’t even bother to pardon themselves. So uncivilized. *rolls eyes*
Do I become something else when my status was different?
I can’t believe it’s the 12th of Jan already. *freaks out*
Changes are inevitable this year. Still undecided if those changes are for the betterment of things, but again I do want to be optimistic so let’s just pretend it is good until I say otherwise.
I received a few of those 2008 horoscope predictions. You know this is purely for fun only for the obvious reasons. All the readings are so different from one another, it’s crazy. “This is not a good year to meet someone” “This year you will find your soul mate”. Clearly, someone like me would rather celebrate the prediction that leads to a happily ever after. Not that I went and book a wedding chapel or anything.
By the way, it did say I will win some money through 4D though it didn’t specify what numbers to buy like some star signs (so bloody unfair) but if it’s meant to be, it doesn’t matter what number I buy because it will surely win right? Right?

i hate WUSS
In FB, there’s an application where people get to either vote you as cute or sexy. Sadly, people think I’m cute. *LOL* Don’t get me wrong, I do appreciate the comments, but the word cute should not be used to describe a 30 year old mommy. I’d rather be called Hot Mama or Sexy Mommy. *bats eyelashes sexily* Thank you very much. Hee.
I bought a very nice pair of opened toe heels yesterday. It wasn’t in my “Things I Need Urgently” list but it was so so beautiful. This was the only pair that looked nice with my gigantic feet. I even went back to the shop three times because I know I shouldn’t get them but I couldn’t let it go. I’ve already bought a pretty expensive (in my opinion) working shoe because the one I was wearing was really worn out – I didn’t have much choice but to get them. To get another expensive (again in my opinion) pair of heels that I would seldom wear was unthinkable. I asked my sister what she thinks and she agrees the shoe is really gorgeous and if I have extra money, then I should get them as a treat. After doing mental calculation with my budget, I told the salesperson to wrap it up, pay the cashier with one eye closed and walked out of the shop feeling so damn happy.
It’s funny how one small thing could lift your spirits so high. I am still smiling thinking about that shoe. I already know what to wear and where to go with it. I just hope I’ll look as good as I imagine in my head. *cough cough*
*yawns like a lazy hippo*
I don’t know why I am so sleepy these days. Maybe I am making up for all the lost sleep. Unfortunately, the dark circles under my eyes can still make the pandas weep. Terrible. I hardly dream these days. The last dream I remember having was That Guy telling me he’s 29 years of age. My subconscious mind is wishing he’s my age I suppose. Hee. He changed his hairstyle and still is very cute and he still remains as the guy for me to drool at only. Not bad what, a motivation for me to go to work every day.
My mom surprised me the other day by saying I am being too choosy and that is why I am still single. Heh? Choosy meh? I don’t think so. I mean, I am choosing someone to spend the rest of my life with and at the same time a father for Ekiel, so I have the right to be particular don’t I? I think my mom is feeling the pressure to have her kids marry as all her friends and relatives who have children our age are doing so. It doesn’t make sense , I know but there’s many things in life that doesn’t make sense. This is one of them.
Someone applied for eight days of leave and got approved. So bloody unfair. Can someone please tell me how long will these injustices last? I want to vomit blood every time it happens.
Went out with my siblings last Friday. It wasn’t the best outing but it was okay because I enjoyed the live band performances. I noticed that most of the club patrons were either ten years my junior or ten years my senior. So, where did those people in between go? Was there a secret place that I do not know of? Seriously?
I enjoy dancing but it feels wrong to shake my booty alone – the siblings don’t dance. When I see someone dances alone, I would lift one eyebrow and think that person lives a very sad life. I do not want to be that person. So that night I danced in my little square box (the place where I was standing) pretending the rest of the world doesn’t exist.
So, for my thirtieth birthday, I want to go dancing. It would be a bonus if I have a man (preferably someone who can dance) with me, which I doubt but I’m crossing all my fingers and toes for being optimistic sake. Someone “did” promise me a man. *whistles*

flirting anyone?
I hate my sunburn. I look like a hideous monster in some movie. *sob sob* I don’t know why I never learned to apply and reapply sun block lotion every time I am under the sun. I thought I’d rough it out. *sticks tongue out* BIG mistake.
I wonder how long it would be before I look normal again. *sighs*
I am SO bored with everything. I need something exciting and lively in my life. It doesn’t have to be a guy, but something for me to look forward to. Like a vacation or a new gadget.
When I win that RM18million jackpot, the first thing I’ll do after settling all my financial thingy is to go for vacations with my family and close friends, go to the beach, enjoying the sea breeze and the sunshine or at some highland, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful greenery. See, I’ve got it all planned out. Now all I have to do is win that jackpot.
The other day, I read an article on Y! News. I can’t remember who did the research/survey, but it says that flirting is harmless and is actually good for you to improve your relationship. Heh? Why you ask?
Apparently, Flirting Can Help Your Relationship
- Flirting gives you confidence
- Flirting keeps you sharp
- Flirting lets you build up sexual energy
- Flirting reminds you how good you have it
What is flirting?
Flirting is a form of human interaction, usually expressing a sexual or romantic interest in the other person. It can consist of conversation, body language, or brief physical contact. It may be one-sided or reciprocated. Source: Wikipedia
This is good news for the singles but I don’t know what couples would think. I imagine most would disagree fearing that the harmless flirting would lead to infidelity and other things. I don’t blame them as most people do not think with their head. Yes, you need to have trusts in your relationship but what if the other party abuse that trust? People these days are so easy to give in to temptation.
I used to be okay with my other half flirting with another woman as long it is just harmless flirting. I mean, I do it too with a limit of course. The idea of another woman wanting my other half is but he picks you is… nice. Unfortunately, one gave in to temptation and no matter how sorry/drunk he was, it hurts. You can forgive but it’s difficult to forget. So what do I think about it now? Hard to say. I’ll let you know once I am in a relationship. *winks*
I am giving myself a headache just thinking about this. My advice is, if you’re weak, don’t go looking for trouble. And, your other half needs to be okay with this. Some idiots will surely use this reason to scratch their itch.
Btw, there is a fine line between flirting and throwing yourself to that someone, no? *whistles*
I miss flirting, but I think my flirting skills are a little rusty if not expired. Someone flirted with me the other day and I didn’t even realize it until my friend told me few days later. *hangs head in shame* My friends laughed at me, but honestly I am a little worried.
What if Mr Right have already flirted with me and I just gave him that dirty look and he got turned off so he went looking for his Ms Not So Right But Can Do larr?
Oh no.

third day of the new year
My colleague agrees that my chair looks different and dustier for a less than a year old chair. See, I wasn’t imaging it after all. To the chair stealer, damn you.
My family had our annual family activity and this year we went for a picnic at Tanjung Aru beach.
Before I continue, I must say I was embarrassed to see the condition of the beach. It was DIRTY. I didn’t even dare to go in the water. Local and foreign tourists go to the beach expecting a clean and beautiful beach. Instead of blue water and white sandy beaches welcoming them, they get littered beaches and sea. How sad is that? Very.
The family outing turned out well. Plenty of food and all the kids, especially Ekiel had fun. All of them are burnt because they sit under the sun a little too long attempting to build sandcastles, which did not turn out so well. Hee. My son was busy kicking and throwing sand. He loves the way it flew with the wind.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008!!!
*woohoo*
How’s your New Year’s Eve celebration? Ours was just a moderate but filling one. My brother wanted a Chinese menu to compensate all the Chinese New Year he missed. So, we had a Chinese menu minus the oranges and the and pows. Oh yes, we did gamble a bit otherwise it wouldn’t be Chinese New Year.
2008 felt ordinary. Though I can hear the fireworks, there are definitely no fireworks in my life. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it can’t be the same old thing again. And again. And again. Right?
Oh well. This is just the beginning of a new year and I am sure/hopeful that many good things will happen. Last year wasn’t that bad really but I guess I am just being a pain in the arse for wanting more. I couldn’t remember if I have made New Year resolution last year (I know I could check my previous entry but I am so lazy). For this year, I talked myself to do a list. A practical achievable list. BUT being the pig I am, I may not be able to achieve any of them anyway. Remember my Learn A Different Language Project? I rest my case.
For that reason, I will not put up my list. I will however, reveal it when I accomplish it. If I don’t, then I will put it up at the end of the year for some thrashing/motivational talk. Okay?
When I heard about the so-called “fan club”, I was surprised. Like heh?
Let’s not think about the wrong side of this but I must admit it feels so damn good.
I’ve forgotten how it feels to be on a natural high.
He loves the way it flew with the wind.

won't you take me to Funkytown
I swear someone changed my office chair because the chair feels like a stranger. A very noisy and unstable stranger. Maybe I am just being paranoid and didn’t notice my chair aging.
So last night we went ahead to watch Alvin and Chipmunks and thankfully it wasn’t a waste of money. It wasn’t THAT great but I like all the singing and shaking their ass bit.
*Won't you take me to Funkytown. Won't you take me to Funkytown. Won't you take me to Funkytown. Won't you take me to Funkytown**shakes ass shamelessly in my mind*
My son enjoyed the movie too. At one point, he put both his hands behind his head while leaning against me with my brother feeding him popcorn and me holding his drink. He surely knows how to enjoy life.
Four days before the year ends. At this moment I am not sure if I should be doing my happy dance or start crying because of my little achievements for the year. Wait, when I think about it, it is not that bad really if you minus all the headaches and heartaches.
I did get that promotion that was promised to me BUT it is not a confirmed thing (still on probation) yet and here, anything can happen so I need it to be on paper before I go celebrating it. I was also selected for the Diploma program but I didn’t realize the pressure for me to excel because I have to prove myself to some people that I am capable without having to kiss anybody’s arse until it was too late.
I went for three separate holidays; to Kl for a friend’s wedding, to Club Med Cherating for a ya-ya sisterhood experience with my sisters and to KL for my first family vacation. I wish it was overseas trips but I did enjoy myself so it doesn’t really matter.
So really it’s not that bad, right? It’s just difficult to think when someone is WAY louder than my thoughts.
What are my hopes for next year?To survive it gracefully.
Seriously?I think I need to think hard about this before I put it in writing for the whole world to see.

I do not want to be at work
Why do some people tell you not to get involved in other people’s business and yet they dive into it head first? Their opinions and comments on the matter are crazy, I don’t know if I should start laughing or crying.
My stomach feels crappy and has been since Sunday. *sighs* My plan to stuffed myself silly and enjoy the food without worrying about fitting into my pants for work, went down the drain. And yet, I am pretty sure I have gained a few KGs because I feel like a bloody whale.
How’s your Christmas?
Mine was fairly okay. (Is it just me or did Christmas Spirit forgot to drop by this year?) My brother did get his wish to have an English Christmas. The food was yummy. I got three Christmas presents; a dictionary cum thesaurus, a name card holder and a glass box. A dictionary cum thesaurus, you ask? Well, I needed a good dictionary for my class so I asked for one. *giggles* Btw, do you have any idea how much a dictionary cost these days?
I think my son enjoyed his Christmas a lot more. I got him a (toy) car which fits him nicely but he is too heavy, he couldn’t paddle himself around. So he did what the Flinstones did, used his legs to move. *LOL* He also got five plastic sport cars, one racing car cum robot, one jet fighter cum robot, a mini goal post + ball, an MU jersey and a baby blue shirt. Guess which was his favorite? The five cars that according to my mom, he picked for himself. When my mom persuaded him to get something bigger and better, he just refused. Let’s just hope his simplicity lasts forever.
I wish I am at home instead of at work. Luckily my other sister also had to go to work today so I am not missing much. Tonight us, the siblings are going to the movies. We haven’t decided what to watch yet though. My sister suggested Alvin and the Chipmunks but from the reviews I read, I rather watch The Golden Compass. But again, reviews are very subjective. Like the movie Enchanted. Some viewers gave it a B and some gave it an A. Yes, I do enjoy that sort of musical movie but it wasn’t exactly my favorite. It’s cute but that’s that.
Another good example was the 30 Days of Night. My friend highly recommended the movie, so I went to watch it. Throughout the whole movie, I asked myself, “Why did I listen to him? Why did I listen to him?” The story wasn’t that great and the vampire thingy looks stupid, especially the female who was extra excited about everything and died because of her stupidity. If the seats weren’t so cramped, I’d do my happy dance.
This is supposed to be an entry about Christmas and yet I blog about something else.
Before I forget, I must say the Sacred Heart English Choir and friends sang beautifully during the Christmas midnight mass. For a while, Christmas felt like Christmas. I especially like the Carols Of The Bells and O Holy Night. If you’re planning to get married and looking for a choir, go get them. I would.
So, Christmas this year is a little quite. One of my brothers is not here so we don’t really plan anything because we didn’t want that brother to feel left out. A family matter (which doesn’t really involve us) also dampens the Christmas spirit. One of the brother is also acting up. *rolls eyes* I am feeling shitty not only because I don’t feel so well, but because I let other people get to me. *Blah*
Anyway, I know my Christmas is WAY better than other people so I am not going to whine about it. I should be thankful instead to be spending it with my family, in good health and lots of food. I really am.

I get to home at 3pm today! *woohoo*
Tomorrow is Christmas. *yay*
This is the first Christmas Eve where I have to work. *sighs* Today I was also informed that my leave for New Year’s Eve is cancelled. He gave his unreasonable reason but I kinda switched off the moment I hears “I need to hold your leave... blah blah blah”. Bloody hell. He clearly dislikes me for reasons only he himself knows and yet he likes to keep me in the office. I don’t understand what his problem is.
I shall not think about it because it’s Christmas. I’d rather be thinking of the food I’m going to eat today and tomorrow.
Christmas presents collection didn’t go too well this year. Oh well. As we become older, the presents and the ang pows become lesser and lesser too. So sad oh kan? No wonder adults dislike the festive season so much, besides the drinking of course.
With the year ending very soon, I am a little worried. I just don’t know how much more can I take of this mental torture before I explode. Since I am already bonded here for three more years, yes people, three more years, I have no choice but to suck it all it. I wonder if it is worth it. The feeling changes though but at this very moment, I just want to slap somebody, that particular somebody silly.
Anyhoo, Have A Blessed Christmas people.
Have Fun.
Don’t Drink & Drive.
Cheers!

on the fourth day before Christmas...
I think I ate too much prawns.
I didn’t know that would be possible.
It is four more days before Christmas. *woohoo*
Maybe it’s just me but it feels less Christmas-sy this year. *sighs*
I must say the Christmas décor this year is so much better compared to the last two years.
Maybe the Office Drama killed Christmas Spirit and that is why everyone is feeling so shitty.
I bought three new blouses for Christmas after years wearing what I have in the closet. *claps hands*
Yes, yes. I am making up for all those years.
But all three blouses are in black and white. I didn’t realize it until I packed my bags to go back to KK.
As for Ekiel, he’ll be wearing his new stone washed jeans and a pink shirt. Hee.
I did thought of getting a matching outfit for me and Ekiel but then, I decided not too because everyone is a critic.
*let it snow, let it snow, let it snow*
When will I finally have my white Christmas?
Our last year’s Italian Christmas was good though.
For this Christmas, we’re having English Christmas, minus the turkey.
Let’s hope my siblings know what they’re doing because I don’t.
I wish I could have one of those Hallmark Christmas dinners.
Like Carolchs.
I didn’t know that would be possible.

finally! an easy and convenient side income!
Let’s face it. For many of us, money will always be a necessity not a luxury. When I started working, I enjoyed spending the money I’ve earned and never think twice about the tomorrows. Of course I burst my budget every month. I did consider getting a part time job, BUT the thought of working after my unpredictable working hour sounded crazy and suicidal to me.
When I was pregnant, I was not financially ready. The hospital bills and all the baby necessities worried me but I figured with my credit cards, I didn’t have to worry. After I gave birth to my son, my whole life took a different turn. I decided it is best to go home and move back with my parents so that my mother could take of my baby when I am at work. That meant I need to give up my comfortable job and salary.
When I got home, I was out of job for five months and when I finally managed to get a job, the pay was only half the amount I used to get. But like someone said, “beggars cannot be choosy”, so I took it. My life was controlled by my financial situation and all my salary goes to paying back my debts and baby necessities.
I was really frustrated and I thought the circumstance was out of my hand. The idea of a part time job again popped in my head but with my unpredictable working hour and my already limited time with my son, I waved the idea goodbye.
I was introduced to blogging long ago but I never took it seriously until last year. Blog hopping became my morning coffee. I noticed a lot advertisements and paid blogs and I thought the blogger must be very good to be paid doing what he or she loves doing. I wish I was like them too.
Then I read in a blog somewhere about how anyone could be paid to blog. I was really excited but I was worried that my blog experience wasn’t enough to convince anyone to pay me to write anything about them. I thought hard about it and I figured I shall just give it a try because I sure could use the extra money. I was also motivated to hear from people who swore this was the easiest part time job they have ever done.
I didn’t know where to go or how to start so I log on to the net. There were many paid blogging services and I actually took the time to read each of them so I could pick one that is best for me. After thinking hard about it, I finally decided to go with PayPerPost.
Honestly, beside the fact that many bloggers are using the services (which proves that it does actually work!), that’s the only website that made sense to me. *LOL* The instructions were clear and there are many “assignments” I could choose from. At least there is something for me, at this part of the world, to write about. The process of submitting the blog and waiting for the approval was also easy. All that and seeing how other bloggers could earn so much through this service was enough to get me started and I was thrilled to know that my blog, The World According To Angelicbug, was paid worthy.
I am very happy that now with a side income, which I could do at my own preferred time; I do not have to worry so much on my budget anymore. I could now bring my son and the whole family to watch a movie or dine in my son’s favorite fast food restaurant without having a headache. As weird as that may sound to some people, I swear this is true.
I shall also start a fund for four things. Hee. I know that’s a long list but we must dream big, no? Hopefully by this time next year, I would have a 3G phone, a digital camera, a laptop and an overseas trip for my family and me. Looks like I have to write a lot of paid posts to realize all these.
So to other bloggers, what are you waiting for? Log on to payperpost and get paid doing what you love best.

All in a day's work...
I still haven't gotten the pics from my KL trip. *sighs*
Been really busy the past few days and this continue until end of the year.
It is now 9.10pm, am waiting for my dad to pick me up. My brain is in a coma. I've been staring at the screen for more than five minutes and I just don't know what to do. Hee. Am supposed to write a so-called important task and the deadline is today but the thing is so ridiculous, I want to print that email out and burn it.
Uploaded some pictures from the events I attended today. So... here's a little something. A glimpse to what my day was like today.
Morning event was a Christmas Charity Party for children from Sri Mengasih, Sabah Thalassaemia Society and Don Bosco. In the evening, I attended a press conference with Dewa 19, a popular band from Indonesia who are performing tomorrow at Stadium Likas.
Sure it was fun and somewhat interesting... but behind that smile and all is an entire different story.

hello peeps.
I am baaaccckkk!!!
Fyi, my holiday was GREAT.
I’ve gained several KGs and got sunburned from the extreme heat which was weird because it was raining cats and dogs for days before we arrived. Despite the tightness with my clothes and the peeling skin, I really enjoyed the trip. Yes, as expected there were few… “unhappiness” but after torturing “them” mentally, I felt a lot better.
The “sekarang semua boleh terbang” airline is a pain. I reconfirmed my flight details (to ensure no surprises when I reach the airport later) that afternoon after trying to get them the whole morning. But less than an hour later, I received an SMS informing me my flight was delayed for three hours. So I called the airline and got my family and I an earlier flight. So bloody happy. Because it was an earlier flight, we rushed and hurried only to found out later that earlier flight was also delayed. Basically we left the same time we were supposed to. How silly is that? I also forgot my journal and a few of my son’s things because I had to rush from work, packed and go. *grrr*
My son enjoyed the plane ride. He learned how to buckled and unbuckled the seatbelts and he did that during the whole trip. He unbuckled himself and was going through the seat pocket thingy when the plane ride became a little shaky. He quickly climbed his seat and buckled himself. “Mummy accident” he said and stayed seated until we reached KL. Hee.
Cameron Highland although a little congested is a nice place to visit. The place isn’t as cold as the other highlands I’ve visited but they have many attractions where tourists like us could visit. We went to the butterfly farm, the rose farms and the strawberry farm where we plucked our own strawberries. Honestly, plucking our own strawberry was no fun. *rolls eyes* The farm is located on a steep hill with slippery muddy pathways. If only I knew the condition of the place, I wouldn’t drag Ekiel along. Big mistake! He ran around like that was the safest thing to do. After he slipped and I nearly got a heart attack, he refused to walk and insisted that I carry him around. It’s not easy carrying a 16kg boy who couldn’t stand/sit still for even a minute and balancing ourselves so we would not to tumble down like a mommy & baby elephant.
Ipoh is a small town much like Sandakan, this is according to my brother. It rained crazily when we got there so after we had our famous chicken rice, we headed back to KL. *rolls eyes*
Another place we visited was Melaka. We stopped by the Melaka Zoo which was quite decent. Now, for those who want to visit the zoo, do remember to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring lots of water. *winks* I nearly passed out from the heat but the thought of those animal laughing at me kept me going. My parents and one sister took the tram ride while the rest of us walked. They stopped at every cage and took pictures and I got tired of waiting under the sun so I did my speeding-through-the-zoo walk, only to stop and see interesting animals like the monkeys and the elephants. So efficient of me.
It was my third visit to Melaka and I am very convinced I have seen it all. So I just tagged along not really focusing on anything. Melaka is a charming small town with its traditional architectural buildings. I wish I could bring my family to eat authentic Baba Nyonya or Portuguese cuisine but because of my mom’s allergy we ended up eating in a very nice food court. The food was so-so but I learned from working at the Resort, that sometimes it is not about the food or the room, but it is all about the experience. *ahems*
I am so proud with myself for walking around the zoo and climbing those stairs at the St Paul’s Church. Not to forget all the walking around town/shopping complexes. *pats own shoulder* But I think I have enough walking to last me for a year. With all that working, I still didn’t lose any weight. So sad oh.
Many things happened, but I don’t remember any of them at this very moment. I do remember being very excited about blogging it though. *sighs* I’m turning 30 in two months but I might as well be 300 years old with me forgetting everything these days.
Christmas is fast approaching. *woohoo* I have done all my Christmas shopping. *wipes eyebrow with relief* Nothing fancy just something practical for everyone to use. I LOVE CHRISTMAS. I love the decorations, the Christmas carols, the Christmas movies, anything Christmas. I can’t wait for it, yet I don’t want it to come so soon because before you know it, you have to put down the Christmas tree already. *sniff sniff*

*sniff sniff*

the usual monday whinning
*beats chest like an angry king kong*
So much anger bottled up. I am afraid when I blow up, I’ll be too broken to be fixed again.
Life is like a rollercoaster no? I love rollercoaster. Anyway, I am at that phase again when the engine suddenly breaks down, and I am dangling in the air, upside down with the safety belt being the only thing that stops me from falling. My world is spinning real hard. I want to throw up but I can’t/mustn’t because the whole world is watching me in my circumstances and the last thing I want to do is embarrass myself. With my need to pretend that everything is okay makes it more difficult.
I no longer questioned the reason behind all this craziness. I’ve accepted them as life’s lesson to me. Yes, I do whine about it but some people just don’t get it. Everyone seems to think I have it easy. *vomits blood* Let them think what they want to think. I am too tired to argue.
I believe what goes around comes around. I just wish the coming around would go back to them faster. *evil laugh*
I need to pick myself up soon because not only it’s affecting my work, but it sure messing with my sanity badly.

I was in KL for ten years
I have never climbed the Mount Kinabalu but I plan to conquer it one day
I have never been out of the country and would love to do so one day
I nearly drowned four times and I still haven’t learn how to swim
I don’t drive because I am afraid, really afraid
Now, to tag 8 people…
Okay… I don’t know who reads my blog and those I know were already tagged. So, anyone who wants to do this are welcomed and leave me a message so I could check them out
*winks* Thanks.

my wish list
I have never made a birthday or a Christmas present wish list. Wait, I did tell my sister what to get me for Christmas because she buys lousy gifts. Her words not mine. But every year I only asked for Harry Potter books (btw, she is buying me the final Harry Potter book for this Christmas *yay*) so that doesn’t count as a list but more like an item. *whistles*
A few friends of mine have a wish list for practically everything so I thought why not. It’s not like I am asking anyone to buy for me anything from the list. Maybe if I wish a little louder, the wish would come true because obviously keeping it to myself don’t work.
This is a combined list because I couldn’t think of a reason why it should be a separate one.
My Birthday/Christmas Present Wish List
1. 3G phone (preferably Sony Ericsson)
I bought my current phone four years ago. It survived many horrible incidents even the one where my son threw it across the room and the phone housing/battery/sim card was everywhere. The phone has been very good to me but it didn’t survived the last episode and now no one on the other side of the phone can hear me no matter how loud I scream my head off.
Why must it be a 3G phone? Most 3G phones has everything and this is a wish list, so why not?
2. Laptop
My only wish is for the laptop has a WiFi connection. A laptop would be nice so I don’t have to wait in line for the computer at home when I want to blog and I also don’t have to write my thoughts down on a piece of paper before transferring it to PC. With a laptop I could also do so many other things like playing computer games or watching a movie when my dad/mom/siblings hog the remote control and watches the news/Indonesian soap opera/football/MTV/Channel V/etc. Take your pick.
I somehow imagine my life would be much productive if I have a laptop. I don’t know why.
3. Digital camera
Since my camera’s mysterious disappearance, life hasn’t been the same. No, I don’t miss taking pictures of myself. Okay, I admit I do somewhat miss that. *evil laugh* What I miss most are my son’s pictures. His last pictures were taken during our Manukan trip and he had grown so much since then. *sigh* I wish I took pictures of him dancing to Sean Kingston’s Beautiful Girl or his excited reaction when he saw the big balloon (bigger than himself) I bought back for him. Oh well.
Would one of those RM3K++ camera be too much for a wish list?
4. MP3 player
So I could listen to some music during one of those sleepless nights.
It’s kinda lonely you know.
I couldn’t think of anything else. Well, I can, but let’s keep the list short by putting the important things only.
