I had the most peculiar yet sensual dream few nights ago. It involves a local artist whose name I shall never reveal (he’s one of the good looking one kay). *winks* I had to wake up before the best part even begin. Damn it. Even in my dream the universe is still playing jokes on me. I still get the tingles when I think about it. *grins like an idiot*
There are so many things I want to blog about but I can’t for reasons I think we all know.
I must have been a real b**** the past few days because I am CONSTANTLY reminded to be nice by the universe. Someone up there made sure I have my steady supply of idiots and psychotics for the past few weeks. *rolls eyes*
The funny thing is; I still find some of their action shocking. It is hard to believe that some people can be so cunning and yet so stupid at the same time.
Eh, you think other people would not find out the truth kah? Like hello? If we can find out what was said at the other side of the earth, what makes you think we would not know what was said within the same room?
This is like one big joke no?
I don’t understand why I am expected to clean other people’s mess. Why are they paying people to screw up and expect other people to cover the mess in the ‘spirit of teamwork’?
It was the best pair of working shoe I have ever worn. Despite the three inch heels, the shoe cuddles my feet and I feel oh so glamorous in it.
A few hours after the working shoe blog, I was almost hysterical. My beloved shoe disappeared. Well, the right-foot one disappeared. *screams hysterically* I was carrying a lot of things when I came home the other day. I thought I’d keep it later but obviously I’ve forgotten about it. The next day it vanished.
I am so upset.
My mom suspected the stray dogs and I’ve been giving the stray dogs the evil eyes since.
Oh well. It is done. No use crying about it now kan?
Dearest beloved 3 -inch right foot working shoe, I will always remember you. Disappear in peace my friend.
On a crazy note, maybe the stray dogs didn’t do it on purpose. Maybe the dog was just the medium. The dog stole my shoe so my Prince Charming found it and now he is looking for me. It’s like a new-age Cinderella story. No?
I survived my first assignment not-so-gracefully. It doesn’t matter. At least I’ve submitted it. I am imagining a C for it, *sighs*. Oh well, my own fault for doing it last minute. I have another assignment to submit by Saturday. Then two months before the next assignments. What did I get myself into?
Hopefully I’ve learned my lesson and not repeat my stupidity.
*Hmmm* Excitement is a very big word in my dictionary these days. This surely explains why it doesn’t happen very often. These days I only battle against insanity and my only comfort is my son’s company and the idiot box. I sometimes wonder if this is it.
A friend of mine who celebrated her birthday the other day (a big shout out to her!) received three bouquets of flowers. *wah* I couldn’t remember the last time I received something like. It must have been many Jurassic era ago. So sad oh kan? But really, is this it?
I was on my replacement off on Monday so I went window-shopping. I couldn’t help myself and bought a nice pair of heels for only RM19.00! *woohoo* When I got home, I realized I have many pair of heels I don’t even need. *hee* Temptation is great. I could use some flats or another pair of working shoe but I find it difficult to find anything I like.
That is always the case no?
We are all looking for something important but are distracted by other irrelevant or unimportant thing.
“I need a sensible working shoe.
Ohhh… stilettos. My feet hurt when I wear it but it looks so damn good. I’m sure the leather will expand (yeah right) so I’ll get in anyway.
I need a sensible working shoe.
What? Sandals for only RM10.00? I must get them.”
It goes on and on.
Sometimes you do find that working shoe but it is not a good fit and yet you still make a full use of it until it’s worn out. Why? For survival of course. You can’t go to work barefooted can you?
You know, I do have a point to make but I’ve lost it between the second paragraph and now.
I think my hormones were running all over the place and my sensitivity level was WAY high.
I finally remembered the last time I received a bouquet of flowers was almost seven years ago. I absentmindedly revealed that fact and that information were used to torment me.
“There was envy in your voice because the last time you received a bouquet of flowers were seven years ago”.
Just bite me.
How is it possible for someone your size to be able to touch your toes while the rest of us couldn’t do it? This shows that the world is fair. You win some. You lose some.
Again bite me.
How can my ‘ability’ to touch my toes justify the workings of this world?
“Because she’s plain and complicated and doomed to eternal kuli-ness, we’ll give her the ability to touch her toes”.
And that people makes the world a better place. *rolls eyes*
Funny no?
But I am always reminded that life isn't that bad after all.
It has been a long weekend and will be a longer week.
Don’t think I have enough patience to last that long.
I am still drowning with my assignments and work is no better. *sighs*
Anyway, here’s a little something for your entertainment.
He always makes me smile and I am sure some of you could use some cheering up too.
The first song he sang was Won't Go Home Without You by Maroon 5 and the second song is an Indonesian song which he loves, Kenangan Terindah by Samsons. Hee.
Despite the aching bones, sore muscles and throbbing headache, I am very happy that last weekend went well. Who was I kidding? It didn’t go so smoothly (Really? It’s a cocktail reception and you only serve carrots/cucumbers/celery sticks with dip? Really?) but nothing majorly bad happened anyway. At this point, I am thankful for every good thing, be it big or small.
Since I have to work last Sunday and the rest of my siblings are …, we’re going to celebrate Father’s Day plus my mom’s 51st birthday this weekend. *Yay* A reason to stuff myself silly. I can feel the pants tightening, and yes, I get all frustrated and upset, but that didn’t tempt me to stick my finger down my throat after eating the whole mamak shop. I do not know what I need to motivate or at least put the fear in me so I could stop eating. I cannot decide if procrastination or gluttony is my bigger sin.
After the whole vomiting and visiting the bathroom episode last week, we finally get to watch Kungfu Panda this week. I know the rest of the world is watching whatever latest movie now, but I must say this. Everyone gave a glowing review of the movie. I don’t know. It was okay but wasn’t that great. Maybe I was distracted by my son who couldn’t sit still and watch the movie. Maybe larr kan? Ekiel was so excited about the movie but his attention was everywhere. I know most people love Po, but I like Head Master Shifu. Hee.
Ekiel and his out of tuned Kungfu Panda move
Someone told me The Gentle Prince is married. WHAT? Does this mean I got to strike his name off my “potential” list. *whistles*
I’m on replacement off day tomorrow. Off on Saturday and Sunday. Then I have classes on Monday and Tuesday. I can already foresee the amount of work waiting for me on Wednesday. And my assignments *bangs head on wall* is nowhere near completion. *panics* I know I need to score the assignments because the pressure to do well is killing me. If I am not in the top three spot, I would be the joke of the town.
I don’t know how some people do it. Between work, my son, my need of a personal life and these classes, I am going mental. My brain is working 24-7 and there are many times I just wanted to give up or cry myself silly. There are times when I wish I could scream at everyone to show how frustrated and upset I am. Of course, I have a good moment here and there, but there has to be a balance, no?
There are those who are trying to get me involve me all their mind games. People, go have a life kay. Like I said, I’ve watch KungFu Panda and I am not afraid to use what I’ve learned. *does out of tuned kungfu move*
This is one of those weekend where I wish it would just *swoosh* me by.
It’s Sunday, Father’s Day and I am at work, just came back from the island, smelling like crabs, sweating like a pig, the office’s air-cond reeking like wet socks and I have another group to entertain at 4pm.
My stomach still feels a little uneasy, and my shoulder/neck still hurts. Thank goodness my gastric didn’t act up like last night. I just cannot wait for the day to end.
I rushed to the office this morning because I didn’t want to be left behind by the boat only to find out those guests were late because they had a long and wild drinking session last night. I heard someone fractured his arms while arm wrestling. Yes, arm wrestling. When they finally arrived this morning, some of them were still drunk. Go figure.
I didn’t know The Embarrassingly Narcissistic Snob has the hots for The Seriously Handsome Warrior. Hey, go find your own man. Stop stealing my fantasy heart throbs. *sticks tongue out*
yummy crabs!! I have never seen Slipper Lobster this big before!
*Woohoo*
At the island, we feasted, gossiped talked about the obvious and discuss about the politics and economy. I finally managed to relax and enjoy myself for the first time this week. Of course it had to end and now I am thinking about my assignment, work and money, money, money.
I still cannot afford the overseas trip so I decided to go to KL again. It’s cheaper because I don’t have to fork out accommodation money. Besides, I miss my friends.
So between now and August, I wish I would hit the jackpot so I could literally shop till I drop.
After weeks looking like a shaggy dog/porcupine, whichever works for you, I finally managed to find the time to do hair treatment and what not. Yes, a little pampering for myself for all the insanity of the past weeks. However, I am still not recovered.
My hair is WAY too long, almost reaching my waist so it is perfect for that change I desperately need. However, I can’t make up my mind on what to do. Nothing too short (I have enough with my short hair drama) or too fancy for I have to bun my hair for work. Bangs would be nice, no? My mom said I have a round face but someone said I have an oblong face. So I told the hairdresser to do her magic.
I think I look too serious with the new hairdo. Hopefully it’ll stop other people from bullying me though. Watch out people, my hair bites! *growls like a mad dog*
I think The Gentle Prince has a princess. If I weren’t too tired, I’d probably be a little upset. Oh well. I just thought the princess who captured his heart would be someone *wow*. *whistles* I’m sure the princess has her qualities.
I am thinking to go for a break soon but I am not sure if I should considering my poor economy state. I thought of going alone but I feel guilty to leave my son behind. *sighs* This is so sad. People tell me that we can always earn more money but not our mental state or happiness. Well, will these people pay my bills when I’m broke? I don’t think so.
I wish I am one of the minister or deputy minister. Despite the “hardship” the country is facing, they still enjoy a paid vacation though limited to ASEAN region only.
"The Government, too, feels the hardship faced by the people and felt that the leadership must show a good example in facing this challenge," he said.
A good example would be to freeze ALL vacation. Once the economy is back on track, they could even go to the moon if they want too.
My family member came back from Jakarta with some virus and spread it to everyone at home with love. The last time I was threw up and visited the toilet that many times in a day was when I got food poisoning at Club Med, Cherating. Let me tell you this, it wasn’t pretty that time and it is still not pretty this time.
I was given a sick leave for yesterday and today but I told the doctor one day would be good enough considering this weekend is pretty busy for us. Though I was at home I couldn’t stop thinking about work. I knew what some people would comment on my absence and true enough, some people did think I was trying to escape from work. I should have thrown up on them.
I am upset.
After throwing up my lunch and dinner the day before yesterday, I haven’t had anything except for two glasses of Milo. Now I am having a really bad headache, gastric and my neck and shoulder hurts. I had to drag myself to work this morning, running around like headless chicken because I was told. Later I have to emcee an event and I have another group to attend for a reccee.
I think it is okay if I’m pissed off with the remark. When will this torture end?
Every blog I go they talk about SocialSpark. When I read Carol’s blog about her blog being featured by SocialSpark, *wow* I was a little jealous. Hee. I’ve registered for SocialSpark but I never got around getting my blog verified and what not. I admit at first I thought it was a hassle to get it done but I was wrong. It was actually simple and all you have to do is follow the instruction carefully.
Almost every blogger I know is registered with SocialSpark. Not only this is a good way to earn additional income, which is always a good thing, this site is also a good place to meet new and old friends. One thing that I really like about this site is that they have plenty of opportunities for you to choose from. That means more money for me. *woohoo*
SocialSpark is also all about -100% Audit-able In-Post Disclosure -100% Transparency -100% Real Opinions -100% Search Engine Friendly
With all that, what more can you ask for? Izea ToolKit? Highest monthly pageview? Highest monthly visitors? Most props?
What I also like about SocialSpark is that they could help you to drive traffic to your blog which is great because that would definitely attract advertisers to your blog. At the same time, you could also meet the blogger community to exchange ideas and tips about everything and anything. How cool is that?
So register yourself, register your blog and make sure you get it verified. After a day, or two you will get a confirmation and you could start making your money.

With the petrol price increase, slowly but surely everything else will be costlier now. That is always the cause no matter what the government say.
Sadly, with all the increase, our salary is still the same. *rolls eyes* I only have one son and I am worried how will I be able to afford his education, necessity and entertainment, you know the outings to fast food restaurants or to the movies.
Since I enjoy blogging why not turn this hobby into a money-making one. Bloggerwave offers good incentives for bloggers, for even a non professional blogger like me. All you have to do is blog about the products and get this; it doesn’t have to be an award winning entry! A simply entry would be accepted as well and you only need to write a minimum of 50 words, depending on the requirement.
Among my many dreams as a child was to be a model. I never perfected the pout so I packed that dream and ship it off to the Land of IFs.
I admire those ladies who diligently join one beauty contest to another. I cannot remember ever being that determined to do anything in my life. Before, I used to think being a model was an easy job but now I know better thanks to television.
There are many beauty contests around but nothing beats the Look Of The Year, an online beauty contest open to anyone around the globe.
The best part is, though the winner will walk away with USD10,000, every participants has an equal chance to be discovered by model agencies. Imagine walking down the runaway of big fashion shows in Paris, New York or Milan!
So, if you’re young and beautiful and dreaming of becoming the next world’s top model, join Look Of The Year as this is the beauty contest that will open the door of the international modeling world to you.
When my colleagues told me the petrol price will be increased at 12.00am yesterday, little did I know I would somewhat get involved in the commotion.
After sending my mom and the other family member off to Jakarta yesterday *jealous*, we went to the beach to buy some “junk food”. On the way back, we were surprised to see cars lining up at the petrol station when we realized they were lining up to pump petrol before the increase.
I don’t remember who but someone suggested we do the same considering the petrol meter thingy (what do you call that thing) showed we have three bars left. The logic thing to do was to pump at the petrol station nearest to our house. So off we went still oblivious to what was happening all over Malaysia.
Then it happened. Traffic. Really long traffic. *smacks head* Whole of KK was out to pump petrol. To make the situation worse, some idiots with no brain just cut queue shamelessly. There are also people who do not bother to follow the traffic light and making illegal turnings here and there. We even had to use a longer route because the junction we need to use to go home from the petrol station was blocked by cars wanting to go in to the petrol station illegally. *shows middle finger*
It took us about two hours to pump petrol just to save RM21.50. Bloody hell. When we think about it, it wasn’t the smartest thing to do. Sitting in the car, caught in traffic while it rained/drizzled is no adventure.
With the petrol hike, the price of EVERYTHING else will increase too. This morning I paid RM2.00 for a Nasi Lemak that used to cost RM1.50. *shakes head in disbelief* I was so hungry; I had no choice but to pay while giving the Nasi Lemak seller a dirty look.
The one of the idiot who cut queues
Can you see the drive pushing the car to the petrol station? I wonder why...
Almost everyone has gone through break-ups in their life before and I’ve blogged about the craziest thing I’ve done after I broke up with my ex.
Some would argue that my previous relationships weren’t serious enough for me to be severely heart broken. Okay. I agree. BUT I have had my heart broken before BIG TIME. Though the circumstances are different, I am sure the pain is the same.
Boy and Girl were together for a very long time. 7 years? There were wedding plans but it didn’t happen for some idiotic reason which Boy blamed his parents. Anyway, one day Girl dumped Boy for Girl’s ex. Boy was heartbroken tremendously. Boy pours his heart out to his mom in which his mom defended his son for the obvious reason.
Girl dumped her ex who became her boyfriend and ask Boy to take her back. He did much to his mom’s despair. Now Girl’s ex boyfriend re-courted her and he dumps Boy to get back with her ex. Again. Boy once again went running to his mom complaining the unbearable heart ache. The Boy’s mom is worried, upset and couldn’t sleep at night thinking the pain of his son.
I said everyone has gone through break-ups before and the boy must pull himself together. The boy’s mom told me I do not understand what his son is going through and his heart is broken. *rolls eyes*
I don’t understand why the son got his mom involved in his relationship. Will he run to her every time he faces a problem in his relationship or another break-up? When I break-up with anyone or just plain depress, I turned to my good friends, good music and liquor for some cheering up. But of course, that is just me.
I know different people handle pain differently. I just feel that one should not let their emotions control them. I believe things happened for a reason. If it doesn’t work out for the second time, it is definitely time to move on kan?
So what is my point? I don’t remember. Hee.
I pity the girl who marries Boy. I know it hurts but trust me, you’ll get over the pain. It’s not worth it to be the second choice.
RULES: 1. Add your blog/s to the list. Feel free to add all your other blogs. It’s okey if you only post these questions in one blog as long as you answer them.
2. Get back to ME{refers to YEN} and I’ll add your blogs to the master’s list here! Yup, another linking thingy but this one has 15 questions and you get to enjoy answering them too!
3. Tag as many friends online you know. But you don’t need to be tag in order to join.
QUESTIONS: 1. When you buy a greetings card, are the words or the picture more important to you? The price? Hee. The words and picture must complement each other. So I have to say both are important to me.
2. What’s your favorite kind of cake? Banana Cake, Carrot Cheese Cake & Banana Chocolate Cake by Secret Recipe
3. Do you ever make gifts for people, if so what, or do you buy them? I used to but I no longer have the time or the patience. I still sometimes want to but please refer to underlined line.
4. What’s your favorite holiday? Dream holiday or the best holiday? Sorry I just had like two sips of coffee this morning. Dream holiday would be a week up at the mountains, making snow angels (somewhere snowy) and sipping wine by the fireplace with my definition of a perfect hunk and later another week (or two) on an island, making sand angels and sipping wine while enjoying the sunset with my definition of a perfect hunk. Boleh?
My favorite holiday would be last Christmas to KL with my whole family. Our first family vacation.
5. Are you going on holiday this year? If so, where? Sadly I did not hit the RM16 million jackpot so that would be a no. *makes sad face*
6. What was the best party you’ve ever been to? Too many to mention but to me a good party is where your favorite people are.
7. If you are married, describe your wedding. If not, what would your ideal wedding be like? Something intimate, simple but elegant. AND everything must run smoothly (I realized this is impossible but one can hope right?).
8. What’s the most romantic thing that’s ever happened to you? *thinks hard*
9. What’s your favorite girl’s name? Azalea, Althea
10. What’s your favorite boy’s name? Ezekiel, Isaiah
11. Which celebrity would you like a dream date with? This is hard. I can’t decide between Dr Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) of Grey’s Anatomy orJohnny (Gabriel Macht) of Because I Said So or Gio Rossi (Freddy Rodriguez) of Ugly Betty. I don’t know the celebrities’ character but I sure like Dr Karev, Johnny and Gio!
Addison (Sheperd):It makes you think. You know, what if I went missing? Would anyone notice I was gone? (few scenes later) Alex (Karev): I'd notice. Addison: What? Alex: If you went missing. I'd notice.
Johnny: I love that when I breathe you in you smell like cake batter. And I love that you have this insane way of talking in circles that makes perfect sense. Milly: [shocked] I do? Cause sometimes I feel like nobody understands me. But... Johnny: Me. I get you.
Gio: I don’t want to be “The Rebound Guy”. I want to be “The Guy”.
12. Which female celebrity do you find beautiful? Anne Hathaway. 13. Which male celebrity do you think is attractive? At the moment, Channing Tatum *wipes drool*
14. What is your best character trait? My sensibility.
Rules: Each of you start with 8 random facts or habits about yourself. Once you’re tagged, write a blog post about your own random fact and post these rules. At the end of the post you need to tag 8 other wonderful bloggers and include their names. Then once you’re done, don’t forget to let them know in their blogs that you’ve given them a tag … and to come read your random facts ;p
My 8 random facts:
1) Despite my beautiful *ahem* chinese name, I don’t speak Chinese at all and I get “comments” because of that no matter where I go.
2) I LOVE seafood and I could do without meat ever. Except for KFC. 3) I am a sucker for happy endings and happily ever after.
4) When people argue or fight, I’ll become nauseas and ill. I swear this is the truth. This is why I dislike people who pick fight especially when they’re drunk. To me, a macho man is someone who knows how to walk away when other people behaves like an idiot.
5) I could eat my favorite food without getting sick of it. Like when I first arrived in KL, I ate the same mixed (same dishes) rice every day for almost two months not because I didn’t know where else to go but because it was really good.
6) Though I am not physically unfit, I love outdoor activities. E.g. hiking, camping
7) I cry when I read articles about abandoned babies or see old folks or children who need to work to support not only themselves but their families as well.
We celebrated Ekiel’s 3rd birthday moderately two Sundays ago. He told me he had fun so all our (my sisters and I) exhaustion was worth it. 31/2 hour of cooking! *shakes head in disbelief*
I salute my mom for doing this 9 times (including my dad's birthday) in a year. I must not forget all the other occassions and functions too!
Ekiel waiting for us to finish the Birthday Song so he could blow the candles out
He was devastated when we started another round of the Birthday Song. Or was he disappointed to see the 1 toy car, 3 chocolate cars and 2 pieces of chocolate on his cake? LOL. Last minute bah.
Sesi bantuan kepada kanak2 miskin Ekiel and his not menjadi sad puppy face. Ni minta kesian mau present.
Ekiel was willing to do almost anything for his present and my sister took advantage of it. She asked for a kiss, a hug and salam.
His effort paid off with a Spongebob story book. His favorite cartoon character.
